Stoneware, T Material, with underglaze colours and gold and platinum lustres.
Various heights to about 30cms.

 

Developing the theme of a storm in a teacup. The storm is quite violent and upsets the cup and eventually the saucer spilling the contents, the ship, poor sailors, sugar, spoon and biscuits. The sailors grab whatever they can to survive including the biscuits—Rich Tea or Bourbon.
